The Hill newspaper reports President Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney are ratcheting up their appearances to a new level of intensity. Both men will be campaigning 24/7 until November 6, Election Day. Obama is visiting three swing states Thursday: Wisconsin, Nevada, and Colorado. Romney will make an all-out push for Virginia, holding three events there.
USA Today reports good news for Obama from some of the swing states. Several new polls give him narrow leads in New Hampshire and Wisconsin. They also give him a solid six point lead in Iowa.
But the Washington Post says Republicans are hoping to pick off three states that have backed Democrats since at least 1988: Pennsylvania, Michigan and Minnesota.
